Pictures from Madeleine's second week! 

We mostly spent the week getting adjusted to having a baby.  We did not get many visitors, which may have been for the best.

We did go to our first visit to the pediatrician's office, where Madeleine weighed in at 7lbs. 8oz.  She is almost back to birth weight, so we must be doing something right on the feeding thing.

We also went to the Ears, Nose, and Throat doctor.  Madeleine was marginally tongue tied, something that was corrected in about 10 seconds with a minimum of crying.

A very nice balloon bouquet from Pam and Kim Salmon.  We really liked the pacifier shaped balloons.

  Nancy's friend Pat "Mrs. Fields" Fields came to visit Madeleine and got her picture taken in the same chair as everybody else.

Madeleine and daddy on the couch.  Felix gets in some lap time and helps keep Madeleine's feet warm.

Madeleine and what we call the "Oma Bassinette." Oma (German for Grandma) comes over to help out and ends up asleep on the couch with Madeleine.

Then she got a closer look at the sea horse.

All of this wore her out.

Madeleine takes a nap out on the family room floor.

She looks very peaceful.

Later she changes over to some meditation exercises.
