Madeleine got to help celebrate Daddy's birthday last week.

Last week also marked the first time that Nancy and I left Madeleine in somebody else's care for any length of time.  Madeleine stayed with Aunt Mary and Cousin Catherine while we went to a wedding.

Madeleine got some new stuff this week, including a wonderful Pooh Bear and blanket from Carlos and Kristina Chavez.  Here is Pooh Bear sitting in the car seat with the blanket.

Madeleine took to Pooh Bear just fine.

But what else does Mommy have?

It is the blanket as well!

Madeleine dressed up for daddy's birthday in the cow suit that Pat Fields gave her.  

And snoozing in the cow suit not to long after.  The cow suit seemed way too big for her when we got it, now it fits perfectly.  Soon it will be too small!

Madeleine meets Pepper dog for the first time.  Pepper had to spend most of the time out in the garage as he wanted to lick Madeleine and chew on all her toys.

Madeleine and Oma Brigitte.  That is the outfit Madeleine was wearing when we brought her home from the hospital.  It was too big then and it is too small now.

And, finally, we tried really hard for a nice family shot to put on the main page.  Madeleine was crying and daddy was looking goofy when the camera flashed.  Only mommy looks her usual, adorable self.  Maybe next week.
