Madeleine got to wish her mom a happy Mother's Day for the first time.  She also started on some solid food, though it mostly ends up down the front of her at this point.

Madeleine took her first trip to the beach with Mommy, to have lunch at Gayle's Bakery in Capitola with some friends.  Madeleine thought the beach was a fine place for a nap.

Madeleine got her first taste of solid food in the form of rice cereal mixed with formula.

She took it in her mouth pretty well.

The whole thing was a lot of fun.  The bib is a requirement for this operation.

Madeleine was content to play with the spoon after the cereal was all gone.

Madeleine got a new bath tub, since she was getting too big for her old tub.  Here she is, splashing away in the tub.
