Madeleine keeps on getting bigger.  Her first tooth is pretty well established and the second one is on its way in to her mouth.

Madeleine is also starting to get around.  She can pull herself to sit up and even stand up if everything is right.  She is starting to try to crawl around as well, so Mom and Dad are in for trouble real soon now!

June 29, 2002, Madeleine holds herself in the standing position without help for the first time.  She stayed there long enough for daddy to grab the camera and take a picture.

Of course, a first try like that was bound to end up on the ground.  Still, Madeleine seemed quite happy with the whole attempt.

Madeleine and mommy went up to aunt Mary's house on a hot day to try out the pool.

The solid food fun continued.  Here is daddy feeding Madeleine squash, which she seemed to like to eat.

Of course, she seemed to like to wear the squash as well.

Grandma Nancy came over from Maui to visit.  Madeleine greeted her enthusiastically.

Madeleine had such a good time up at Aunt Mary's house that we went up there again.  Here is Madeleine with Catherine and Mary.

Of course, there was more fun in the pool.  This time Madeleine and daddy went for a swim.
