Another Week Has Gone By!

Madeleine went for another visit to the pediatrician where she weighed in at 7lbs. 14oz.  She is past her birth weight and continuing to grow.

John went back to work this week, so Nancy was on her own with Madeleine for a few days.  Nancy's mother spent her days off with her, however, so she wasn't alone with Madeleine the whole time.

Madeleine opens wide and shows off her tongue.  This is one of those "I'm hungry" gestures.

I tried to use a toy to give a size reference.  As I was taking the picture, Oscar decided to see what we were up to.

Louisa Aliferis came to visit Madeleine and brought her yet more presents.  No Hello Kitty stuff yet. (Louisa is a big Hello Kitty fan.)

My cousin Catherine and my aunt came to visit as well.  Catherine held Madeleine for extended periods of time.

Catherine fits right in with the scheme of things at our house.  Relaxed, a cat in your lap, and a baby in your arms.
