Madeleine is still keeping us busy. She has four teeth
now, two top and two bottom. She is also close to being able to
walk. She stands up by herself and is trying to take steps. She
usually falls down on the first step however.
Madeleine discovered that all the tissues in the box are the same. I
suppose you couldn't be sure of this until you pulled them all out yourself.
Madeleine has had a fascination with the end table in our family room and the
pillow we lean against the table to keep her from bumping her head.
It is one of her favorite places to stand up.
She began trying to climb up the pillow in earnest a couple of weeks back.
We have now moved the end table to another location.
Madeleine (center stroller) at Bonfante Gardens in Gilroy.
Madeleine and Mommy on the train at Bonfante Gardens.
Madeleine eating Cheerios in her saucer. She is getting close to
outgrowing the saucer. No wonder people have multiple children, it is
just to get full usage out of all the early toys you end up buying!
A good size comparison shot. Go back and look at the pictures of Madeleine
and Pooh Bear on the March 11 page.
Madeleine with Mrs. Perry, the mother of one of Nancy's long time friends, Linda
Villanueva, who is shown on the Madeleine at Home page.
Madeleine at Florentine's in San Jose. This was her first time out to
dinner with Mommy and Daddy. (She goes out to lunch with Mommy regularly.)
Out at Shoreline Park in Mountain View on Mommy and Daddy's third wedding
anniversary. We were married at the Rengstorff
House at Shoreline Park.
Madeleine, refusing to look at the camera long enough for a picture to be taken.
And with Daddy at the park.
Madeleine has once again outgrown her tub. No more baths in the kitchen
sink. Now she has an inflatable tub in the big bath tub. She can
splash all she wants now! (And she does)
Madeleine showing us either the position she holds in our hearts or what she has
just done in her diaper.
Our family room has been converted into a play pen. You can see the fence
between Madeleine and the TV and fire place. There is another fence at the
other end of the room to keep her from venturing into the kitchen and dining
room.
On Mommy's lap with some of the kitchen fence visible. This limits the
amount of baby-proofing we have to do, at least until she learns to get
through the fence. Soon....
Madeleine standing up in the corner of her crib. This is where we find her
every morning when she wakes up. (Mommy wants it pointed out that Daddy dressed
her this way.)
Madeleine helping out with the laundry!
Madeleine had a new bench toy that she likes to pull herself up on. The
lid for it is the blue thing in the background. She decided she wanted the
lid off.
Later, she showed us she wanted the lid off because she wanted to climb on in.
Madeleine and Daddy in the family room.
Madeleine and Cousin Catherine at our family BBQ.
Madeleine and Cousin Jack. Jack is 6 weeks older than Madeleine.
