Madeleine has been very busy since the last update.

First, she had her 9 month checkup.  She weighed in at 17 pounds 8 ounces and was pronounced healthy.

Then she got sick.  For a week, Madeleine, Nancy, and John all had the flu and there was much misery at the MacWilliamson household.

Madeleine also got to go up to Oakland to see Aunt Mary get an award from the Oakland Rotary, got to go to the beach, got her first haircut, got to go to Bonfante Gardens again, and got to see another movie at the Oaks in Cupertino at their "Diaper Day Movie."

Way back in September, Madeleine went to Uncle Todd's house warming party.  She is sitting here on our new animal print park blanket.

Once again on the park blanket, Madeleine, Mommy, Aunt Mary, and Cousin Catherine headed to the beach on a weekday to get some of the last good sun of the year.

She likes to stand up now.  Of course, as soon as she stood up in the table, Mommy and Oma rushed into the picture!

Madeleine in our back yard.  She can sit on the little scooter thing, but hasn't quite got the whole "pushing" idea yet.  Still, look at that beautiful lawn.

Mommy and Madeleine at the Oaks Theater in Cupertino along with Jodie and her son Kurt.  They have a "Diaper Day" movie on the first Wednesday of every month where babies are welcome in the theater.  Nancy arranged this with the manager of the Oaks and it has become quite popular.

Madeleine and Aunt Mary on either side of Aunt Mary's financial planner Marlo up at the Oakland Rotary club.  Aunt Mary received an award for her work in the community.

Madeleine at Oma and Uncle Todd's birthday on October 13th.  Madeleine is dressed up in a Green Bay Packers cheerleaders outfit that Oma brought back from Wisconsin.  Uncle Todd is a big Packers fan, as you might decide from his own apparel.

And here the actual procedure begins.  Things went very smoothly and Madeleine got a certificate commemorating her first haircut which included a lock of her hair.
