Madeleine got to help Mommy celebrate her birthday this week.  Mommy asked for stuff for Madeleine, and her wish was granted.  Madeleine ended up with many more outfits.

The week started off quietly.  Madeleine spends much more time awake and looking at the world.  Here she is in her Gymini, very interested in it.

Bathing is becoming a common routine for Madeleine.  She has started enjoying it more.  She likes to have her hair washed.

And then she sits calmly as the soap is rinsed away. (As long as none of it gets in her eyes!)

We wanted to take some pictures of Madeleine in this pretty pink outfit, but she spit up on it as soon as it was on her.  Life with baby!

Grandpa Paul and Grandma Emily came to visit Madeleine.  Felix is trying to soak up any excess attention.

Like Daddy, Grandpa Paul doesn't show up in many pictures smiling, so this is a good one.

It was feeding time and Grandpa got to give Madeleine a bottle.  He even got to wear the official household burping cloth.

Oma Brigitte came over later for Nancy's birthday and to get her own load of attention.  Felix is still looking for his share as well.

Oma proves she can change a diaper still.  One of Madeleine's favorite things is the mobile hanging above the changing table.  It has a mirror as well as things hanging from it and Madeleine loves to sit and look up at it.
