A week before Easter and a whole bunch of pictures to post!

February 26, 2003, Madeleine is there to see Oma become a US citizen (after only 37 years in the US!).  Oma was promptly summoned to jury duty.

Madeleine taking her last bath in the inflatable tub.  She has now graduated to the full tub, which gives her much more room for toys!

Madeleine got her own little chair in which to sit. (And look at all those teeth!)

Of course, she started using it to try and get up onto things almost right away!

To keep her off of the chair, which isn't very stable, Madeleine then got her own little step stool.  She carried it all over the house to see what she could see.

When the stool didn't fully meet expectations, some experimentation ensued until mommy saw....

Madeleine playing with the iMac I picked up used.  It has an AirPort card in it, so it is on the internet where ever we plug it in.

Madeleine sees mommy and daddy play with the iMac, and she wants to play too.  I think she is at the Playhouse Disney site in this picture.

Sometimes you have to drop the ball and see what nature has for you.

Madeleine got to go to the Oakland Zoo.  Here she see some ducks.  Madeleine knows what the duck says (Quack! Quack!) but she is used to ducks being yellow, like the one in her bath tub.

Madeleine with the goats at the petting portion of the zoo.  These goats seemed less lively than the ones at Happy Hollow.  Of course, these might be tough, urban goats who don't let little kids chase them around.

The trip back from the zoo.  Madeleine and Ciaran (who, along with his mother, car pooled up to the zoo) asleep in the car.  The second car seat was moved over from my car for this event. (Yes, we have two animal print car seats.)
