The heat has subsided somewhat and it is time to gather
pictures we have taken since the last update.
Nancy got a mention in the San Jose Mercury News about Diaper
Day. We were bummed that Madeleine did not get mentioned by name. No
picture either!
It was so warm in August that we tried any position to get to sleep.
With Aunt Renate at a SanDisk
multi-cultural fair. We're obviously in the USA booth. Aunt Renate
works for SanDisk.
Up at Aunt Mary's taunting daddy. She kept putting on the glasses she has
in her hands, but never long enough for me to take a picture.
And at the pool up at Aunt Mary's. Madeleine has her floatation bathing
suit on.
Sit-And-Play at our house. Here we have Madeleine, Anika, Katherine, and
Haley sitting around the table coloring nicely. This lasted for about two
minutes.
Madeleine getting comfy on the couch. Rolie
Polie Olie is probably on the TV.
Of course, we can always find ways to get more comfortable on the couch.
And here we are learning bad habits from daddy again.
A quick picture at the Santa Cruz Beach
Boardwalk where we were attending another SanDisk party. At least one
company in the valley seems to be doing quite well!
Madeleine and Bosco. Bosco is the kitty of our friends Linda and Eliot.
Nancy has started working with Madeleine's hair. Here she is with a clip in her
hair to keep it out of her eyes.
Ciaran, Madeleine and Jordyn at Emma
Prusch Farm Park in San Jose.
Just Ciaran and Madeleine on the wagon.
And all three of them on the tractor at the park.
We were invited to a Red Egg and Ginger party to celebrate the first month of
life of Greg and Ruth Chow's second son Jonathan. However, I did not get
any pictures of any one of those three. Instead here is Madeleine and I with
Greg's brother Gary and his son Alex.
At the party there was a big jumpy house. Madeleine spent some time in
there, but it is a little big in scale for her. She could jump quite
nicely on the step up to the house.
Madeleine and Gary's daughter Kate. If I had gotten Gary's wife Candace in
a shot I would have had their nuclear family covered.
Here and in the above shot the kids are trying to make bubbles and not, as some
might think, play badminton with some unique racquets.
Madeleine trying to grab the digital camera from my hands. She has taken
some shots by herself, but she not quite ready to be published yet except
perhaps in some very avant garde art magazines.
